Under the patronage of the President of the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Dr. Essam Hadi Al-Salhi, the College of Administration and Economics organized a scientific awareness seminar titled "Health and Women," as part of the activities of the Continuing Education Division, in cooperation with the Women's Affairs Unit.
The seminar featured lectures presented by specialists from the Kirkuk Health Directorate: Dr. Nurjan Qasim (Obstetrics and Gynecology) and Dr. Bana Abdullah (Radiology and Ultrasound). They discussed the most prominent health issues concerning women, methods of prevention, and the importance of promoting health awareness within society.
The seminar was attended by a number of teaching and administrative staff. The organizers stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation between the university and the Kirkuk Health Directorate in organizing such awareness-raising events, due to their active role in spreading health culture and promoting interest in women's issues within the university community.
