The faculty member at the University of Kirkuk, Mr. Yıldırım Salahuddin Hussein, an internationally certified inventor by the International Federation of Inventors' Associations (IFIA) – Geneva, achieved a significant national milestone by receiving the highest recognition (**The Golden Shield**) in the field of Technology – Artificial Intelligence. This honor was awarded as part of the Iraqi Creativity Award 2025, organized under the supervision of the Iraqi Prime Minister's Office through the Iraqi Development Council.
This achievement comes in recognition of his outstanding scientific contributions to the development of artificial intelligence systems and technical innovation. He is the first faculty member at the University of Kirkuk to receive this shield in the field of AI, reflecting the university's prestigious scientific status and its leading role in supporting scientific research and encouraging creative national talents.
