The Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Kirkuk, Assistant Professor Dr. Essam Hadi Mohammad Ahmed, received a delegation from the Central Bank of Iraq / Mosul Branch. The delegation included Mr. Waad Allah Abd al-Salam, Audit Manager, and Mr. Harith Khalil Ibrahim, Director, as part of strengthening joint cooperation between academic institutions and official financial authorities.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed prospects for scientific and economic cooperation, particularly regarding support for the educational process and linking theoretical aspects with practical application in financial institutions. This aim is to develop student skills and align educational outcomes with labor market requirements.
At the conclusion of the meeting, and on behalf of the President of the University of Kirkuk, the Dean of the College received an honorary shield presented by the Central Bank of Iraq delegation. The Dean was also honored with the Shield of Excellence in appreciation of his outstanding efforts in managing the college and his continuous support for the academic and institutional journey.
The honoring also included the Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Firas Mohammad Shehab, and the Vice Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Tania Abdel Qader, in addition to the heads of scientific departments, in recognition of their effective efforts and clear contributions to enhancing scientific and administrative performance within the college.
During the meeting, the Dean emphasized the college administration's keenness to expand cooperation with official institutions, support scientific and administrative competencies, and consolidate a culture of excellence and dedication, in line with the University of Kirkuk’s directives and goals to elevate scientific and administrative realities.
