Under the patronage of the Deanship of the College of Administration and Economics, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Issam Hadi Mohammed, Dean of the College, and in cooperation with the Assistant Deans—Professor Dr. Tania Abdul Qader, Administrative Assistant Dean, and Dr. Firas Mohammed Shihab, Scientific Assistant Dean—the College held an official ceremony to honor a select group of faculty members who were promoted to the academic ranks of Professor and Assistant Professor, as well as a number of staff members who completed their postgraduate studies and obtained advanced academic degrees.
This recognition came as part of the University’s celebrations marking the 22nd anniversary of the founding of the University of Kirkuk, during which the College Deanship was keen to highlight the scientific and research efforts of its members, in appreciation of their contributions that enhance the University’s standing and strengthen its academic role in serving the community.
In his speech, the Dean of the College emphasized that these achievements represent a valuable asset to the College and reflect the commitment of its faculty to scientific research and academic excellence, noting that supporting and motivating academic staff is one of the fundamental pillars of the College’s approach.
The Administrative Assistant Dean and the Scientific Assistant Dean also expressed their pride in this distinguished group of faculty members, affirming the College’s continued commitment to nurturing scientific talent and providing a supportive environment for creativity and academic advancement.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates of appreciation and symbolic shields to the honorees, in an atmosphere reflecting pride and a strong sense of belonging, in a manner befitting the history of the University of Kirkuk and the efforts of its staff in the journey of knowledge and learning.
